Mimari açıdan Boğaz Köprüsü bir asma köprüdür. Köprünün bir ayağı Ortaköy'de bir ayağı ise Beylerbeyi'nde bulunur. Boğaz Köprüsü'nün denizden yüksekliği 64 metredir. Boğaz Köprüsü'nün genişliği de 33,40 metredir. Boğaz Köprüsü'nün toplam uzunluğu 1560 metredir. Asma köprüler ayakları arasındaki mesafeye göre sıralanır. Boğaz Köprüsü'nün ayakları arasındaki mesafe 1070 metredir. Asma köprüleri sıralamasında Boğaz Köprüsü Avrupa'da 3. sırada, dünyada ise 7.'dir. |
