English: Detail from swedish map of the surroundings of Bohus fortress during a siege in August 1645. 7)Norwegian-danish fortress Bohus with town Kungälv. 13)Obstacle in the river Göta älv, denying Sweden the use of the river. Incircled is a defense redoubt guarding the river-obstacle and is at the same time a part in the outer defense of the castle.
