Bouet versteht sich sowohl bei seiner Malerei als auch als Singer-Songwriter als Zeitreisender. Auf seinen virtuellen Reisen durch die USA mittels Fotos auf Google Maps hält Bouet bewusst verblichene Polaroid-Fotos als Screenshots von den besuchten, dortigen Ortschaften fest. Diese legt er als Polacards oder als signierte Poster zum Teil seinen Musikalben bei. Das Foto des Covers erinnert an eine seiner Zeitreisen. Sein Label lautet 1301Media. Bouet sees himself as a time-traveller, both in his painting and as a singer-songwriter. On his virtual journeys through the USA using photos on Google Maps, Bouet deliberately captures faded Polaroid photos as screenshots of the places he visits.
