Deutsch: Die Brühlwegdüne wurde im Jahr 2022 auf einer Fläche von 0,5 Hektar freigelegt. Nach Fällung der Bäume dezimierten Ziegen und Schafe die Krautschicht und die Buschvegetation. Anschließend wurde der humose Waldboden durch das Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe soweit abgetragen bis eine offene Flugsandschicht wieder zum Vorschein kam. Von den Maßnahmen des amtlichen Naturschutzes profitieren seltene Arten wie Dünen-Sandläufkäfer (Cicindela hybrida), Sand-Silberscharte (Jurinea cyanoides) und Steppenbienen.
English: The Brühlweg dune was exposed in 2022 over an area of 0.5 hectares. After the trees were felled, goats and sheep decimated the herbaceous layer and bush vegetation. The Karlsruhe Regional Council then removed the humus-rich forest floor until an open layer of drifting sand emerged again. Rare species such as sand tiger beetles (Cicindela hybrida), sand beetles (Jurinea cyanoides) and steppe bees benefit from official nature conservation measures. |
