Description

This plant-eating dinosaur from about 150 million years ago is a replica, based on bones in the Field Museum of Natural History collection.

It is one of several exhibits that are showcased at Chicago's main gateway - O'Hare Airport. In particular, it is standing in Terminal 1, which is the home hub for United Airlines. I am passing through O'Hare Airport in the early morning hours, on my way from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, on United.

As part of the Continental Airlines merger with United in 2010, all signage at O'Hare has been updated to reflect the new United brand, which uses the United name but also uses Continental's Disco Ball symbol and branding. The lounge, formerly known as the Red Carpet Club, is renamed to simply United Club.
