Description
Deutsch: Bremer St. Petri Dom: Die barocke Kanzel (um 1640) ist ein Werk des dänischen Hofbildhauers Jürgen Kriebel. Der Kanzelkorb ist geschmückt mit fast vollplastischen Figuren der Propheten des Alten Testaments und den biblischen Urvätern Abraham, Moses und Salomo. Den Treppenaufgang schmücken König David und die Evangelisten.

Den reich verzierten Schalldeckel krönt die Figur des auferstandenen Christus mit der Siegesfahne. Zu seinen Füßen befinden sich allegorische Gestalten der christlichen Tugenden.
