Description
Deutsch: Bremer St. Petri Dom: Christusrelief (um 1050) in der Westkrypta. Befand sich wahrscheinlich als Tympanon-Figur über dem Westeingang des frühen Adalbert-Domes. Der thronende Christus symbolisiert den an die bremischen Erzbischöfe gerichteten Missionsbefehl. Die linke Hand weist auf das Evangelium als neue Lehre, die Rechte hält den zweibärtigen Schlüssel als Zeichen der Macht im Himmel und auf Erden. Die Herkunft des Künstlers weist nach Köln.
