Hank Ellis over Naval Air Station North Island, California (USA), in November 1941. This aircraft was flown by 2nd Lt. Charles M. Hughes during the Battle of Midway and later crashed in a swamp near NAS Miami, Florida (USA), after the pilot bailed out after an engine failure on 13 November 1942. |
