Summary

[edit]
Description These buildings are located on Broadway Street near its intersection with Liberty Street in the Prospect Hill Historic District of Cincinnati's Mount Auburn neighborhood. Constructed in the 19th Century, these buildings are all examples of the Italianate style. Today, I would argue that the upper portion of Broadway Street is one of the best streets for historic architecture in the city, as there are many fine homes along its length not only in Mount Auburn, but also on the other side of Liberty Street in Pendleton. This area was once home to several wealthy families, and many of their houses are still standing along Broadway.
