Description
English: The Brokpa people are semi-nomadic yak herders who have lived largely in isolation since arriving to Bhutan. Several of their villages, like Sakteng, Tengma, and Borang Tse, still have no road access today.Besides the dances those are performed at other Dzongs and monasteries throughout the Kingdom, during Merak festival, the Brokpas also perform their traditional and exclusive dances known as Ache Lhamo (yet dance) and the Yak dance.
