La partie intitulée Les êtres des confins, semble évoquer des figures similaires à celles des miroirs des Trois Royaumes bien qu'il traite des Royaumes Combattants. Une certaine continuité des codes figuratifs et du symbolisme semble pouvoir être avancé au regard des œuvres. Les miroirs montrent en effet des figures données comme taoïstes par le, très spécialisé, musée d'Honolulu avec des « hommes » ayant des cheveux dressés sur la tête et des êtres hybrides, qui semblent signifier ce monde invisible. |
