English: Tufted basketry cap. Tan raffia basketry cap, brown and tan shredded fiber knot at top of cap. Only other decoration is the dark brown bands from top to bottom that alternate with the beige weave. Technique is piled and plaited. Condition: good, tuft slightly crushed. (Tuft is top). |
