English: Location of the former public indoor swimming pool (Schwimmhalle) at the corner of Juri-Gagarin-Straße and Siemens-Halske-Ring in Cottbus-Ströbitz. It was built in 1975, but patronage as well as condition declined after German reunification due to lack of refurbishment. It was declared structurally unsound and finally demolished in early 2019 after fourteen years of vacancy. |
