For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Oberstes Gericht, Globke-Prozess, Aussage, Peter Edel Zentralbild Stöhr-11.7.1963 1. Strafsenat setzte Verhandlung gegen Globke fort. Der 1. Strafsenat des Obersten Gerichts der DDR setzte am 11.7.1963 die Hauptverhandlung gegen den millionenfachen Judenmörder Globke fort. Im Mittelpunkt steht heute der Komplex der berüchtigten "Endlösung der Judenfrage". Wie am Vortage sagten zahlreiche Zeugen aus, die die faschistische Judenverfolgung am eigenen Leibe erlebten. UBz: Die Aussage des Berliner Journalisten und Schriftstellers Peter Edel war eine einzige flammende Anklage gegen den millionenfachen Mörder Globke und seine Helfer namens aller, die das Grauen nicht überlebten. Laut wiederholte Peter Edel im Gerichtssaal das Vermächtnis seiner Mithäftlinge: "Wenn du überlebst, berichte vor allem den Jungen, was hier geschehen ist, sage, wer uns den Viehstempel aufgedrückt hat".
