For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Die Amtseinführung des neuen stellv. Reichspräsidenten Dr. Walter Simons wurde am 12. März 1925 durch den Reichstagspräsidenten Löbe im Reichstag vorgenommen. Der neue stellv. Reichspräsident Dr. Simons verlässt nach der Eidesleistung im Dienstauto den Reichstag. Hinter ihm Staatssekretär Meissner, die ehemalig rechte Hand Eberts.
