For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Franziskanermönch als Erzieher für Grosstadt-Waisrekinder! Vor den Toren Berlins, in Schöneiche, haben Franziskanermönche ein Kinderheim ins Leben gerufen, um Waisenknaben vom unruhvollen Getriebe der Grosstadt das Vaterhaus zu ersetzen. Nach Beendigung des täglichen Schulunterrichtes, welcher bei schönem Wetter im Garten des Heimes stattfindet, beschäftigen sich die Waisen mit Gartenarbeiten, usw. Selbst eine eigene Musik-Kapelle hat dieses Heim, an deren Spitze ein Franziskaner-Mönch als Dirigent steht. Jeden Tag wird fleissig geübt. Es ist ein seltsames Bild, den Mönch in der Kutte an der Spitze der Musik-Kapelle dirigieren oder selbst mitspielend zu sehen. Die Musik-Kapelle des Kinderheimes in Schöneiche b./Berlin bei einer Uebungsstunde im Garten unter Leitung eines Franziskaner-Mönches. |
