For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schwarza, kubanische Gastarbeiterin ADN-ZB Kasper 8.9.86 Bez. Gera: Jugend-Für ihre guten Lern- und Arbeitsergebnisse konnte vor wenigen Tagen Nilda Madraso aus Kuba als Aktivist ausgezeichnet werden. Sie erlernte im Stammbetrieb des Chemiefaserkombinates "Wilhelm Pieck" Schwarza den Beruf eines Chemiefaserfacharbeiters. Noch im September heißt es für Nilda Abschied zu nehmen von den Mitgliedern des Arbeitskollektivs, der Jugendbrigarde "Fortschritt" in der Schärerei II des Polyamidseidenbetriebes.
