For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Illus-Biscan Leu-He. 25.5.1951 Wettbewerb der Schweinezüchter. Schweinemeister Walter Breitfeld vom Volksgut Tundersleben bei Magdeburg hat alle Schweinemeister der volkseigenen Güter zu einem Wettbewerb aufgerufen. Zweck des Wettbewerbs ist, das Ferkelaufkommen zu erhöhen und den Bauern mehr Ferkel zur Verfügung zu stellen, damit weitere Schweinemastverträge geschlossen werden können. Walter Breitfeldt verpflichtet sich u.a., Die Ferkelverluste bei der Aufzucht auf sieben Prozent zu senken, die Sterblichkeit also auf 50% zu verringern. Das Vierwochengewicht je Wurf von 59 Kilo auf 64 Kilo zu erhöhen, obwohl er in diesem Jahr schon 56 Läufer an werktätige Bauern abgegeben hat. Ferner die Arbeit im Schweinestall so zu verbessern, dass der Achtstundentag Wirklichkeit wird. Breitfeldt fordert alle Schweinezüchter auf, über seine Verpflichtung zu diskutieren und mit ihm in Wettbewerb zu treten. U.B.z: Die Stammtafel des Stammebers "Vortrab" des wertvollsten Tieres des Gutes. |
