For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Friedensfahrt, Karte, Etappen in der DDR "Friedensfahrt der Nationen" Am 10. September 1951 beginnt die "Friedensfahrt der Nationen", bei der unsere Rad-Amateure sich international gegen die Elite aus den Volksdemokratien bewähren müssen. Die Fahrt, bei der insgesamt 2073,8 km zu bewältigen sind, besteht aus 12 Etappen mit Bergbewerbungen und zwei Ruhetagen in Leipzig und Chemnitz. UBz: den Weg der Friedensfahrt durch die DDR mit den einzelnen Etappen und den Bergbewertungen. Aufn.: Illus Stolp 598. AV. St-We. Berlin W8 3.9.1951
