For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Biscan Me-Qu. 17.5.52 Neue Wohnungen für die technische Intelligenz. Wenige Tage vor der mit dem 15. Juni festgesetzten Frist sind in Magdeburg zwei Neubauten bezugsfertig geworden, in denen ausschließlich Angehörige der technischen Intelligenz wohnen werden. Die Wohnungen sind geräumig und mit allen Errungenschaften der modernen Technik ausgestattet. Sie sind so entworfen, daß Arbeitszimmer eingerichtet werden können. Die hier wohnenden Techniker - führende Ingenieure und Konstrukteure - werden so die Möglichkeit haben, auch zu Haus an der Lösung ihrer Aufgaben zu arbeiten. Die beiden Häuser enthalten je sechs Wohnungen.
