For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Glaubitz, Kartoffellege Zentralbild Siegert-7.4.1953 Neuentwickelte Kartoffellegemaschine im Einsatz. Die MTS Nünchritz begann am 2. Osterferientag 1953 (5.4.) mit einer von unserer Industrie neuentwickelten Kartoffellegemaschine die Kartoffelaussaat auf den Feldern der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktiongsgenossenschaft Glaubitz. Die Kollegen der Genossenschaft waren besonders über die große Einsparung an Arbeitskräften erfreut und äußerten sich anerkennend über die Neukonstruktion.
