Gründung der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik am 7.10.1949.
3. Sitzung der Provisorischen Volkskammer der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik am 12.10.1949 im Gebäude der Deutschen Wirtschaftskommission Berlin, Leipziger Straße. Tagesordnung: Abgabe der Regierungserklärung durch Otto Grotewohl und die Bekanntgabe der Zusammensetzung der Regierung. Alle Fraktionen der Volkskammer stimmen der Regierungserklärung zu und bestätigen die Regierung.

UBz: 3.v.l.: W.S. Semjonow Außerordentlicher und Bevollmächtigter Botschafter der UdSSR in Deutschland.
