For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Meißen, Dom Zentralbild Höhne-Pohl 29.5.1953 Instandsetzungsarbeit am Dom zu Meißen Der Betrag von 900.000 DM wurde u.a. aus dem Staatshaushalt der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik zum Wiederaufbau von 104 kirchlichen Baudenkmälern zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein Teil dieser Summe wird für die Instandsetzungsarbeiten am Dom zu Meißen verwendet. UBz: Blick auf den Dom zu Meißen.
