Berlin, Warenhaus, "Jugendmodezentrum" ADN-ZB Zimmermann 5.8.82 Berlin: Von der Fischerinsel aus über das markante Dach des "Ahornblattes" am Mühlendamm hinweg streift der Blick zur Breiten Straße mit dem Jugendmodezentrum. Das zwischen neuen Bauten erhalten gebliebene Warenhaus wurde um 1910 errichtet.

Originale Bildunterschrift falsch. Die Straße vorn ist die Gertraudenstraße, die Straße links im Bild (nach oben) ist die Brüderstraße. Das Kaufhaus (Altbau existiert noch), ganz rechts das Bauministerium der DDR (abgerissen 2011). Die Breite Straße ist nicht zu sehen = rechts vom Bild. Die Plattenbauten links sind vom Typ Mittelganghaus - Die Häuser gehören zum Karree Brüderstraße / Scharrenstraße / Friedrichsgracht / Sperlingsgasse. Das Hochhaus hinten ist das Internationale Handelszentrum am Bahnhof Friedrichstraße, das langgezogene Hochhaus davor ist das Außenministerium der DDR, inzwischen abgerissen, am heutigen Schinkelplatz.
