For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Prager Straße, Springbrunnen ADN-ZB Häßler 22.6.1984 Dresden: Ein beliebter Treffpunkt der Dresdner und ihrer Gäste ist die Prager Straße. Direkt im Stadtzentrum gelegen, bietet das städtebaulich-architektonische Ensemble eine Ruhezone nach einem Stadtbummel. Die viele Wasserspiele, die an warmen Tagen dicht umlagert sind, tragen zum Reiz dieses Boulevards bei. Die Prager Straße wurde bereits 1851 angelegt, 1945 aber total zerstört. Zum 20. Jahrestag der DDR 1969 entstand sie neu.
