For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Großebringen, Ernte, Brandschutzstreifen ADN-ZB Ludwig-28.7.86-St.-Bez. Erfurt: Brandschutzmaßnahmen bei der Getreideernte. Fragen des Brandschutzes und der Betriebssicherheit spielen bei den Erntearbeiten auf der rund 3100 Hektar großen Getreidefläche des VEG (P) Großebringen, Kr. Weimar Land, eine vorrangige Rolle. Unmittelbar nachdem die Mähdrescher die erste Schneise in das Getreidefeld geschnitten haben, wurde der Brandschutzstreifen gezogen, der bei extrem trockener Witterung alle 25-30 Hektar und sonst alle 50 Hektar angelegt wird.
