For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum ADN-ZB Deutsche Demokratischte Republik-18.3.1987- Das Deutsche Hygiene-Museum Dresden. Das Deutsche Hygiene-Museum Dresden feiert im Mai 1987 sein 75jähriges Bestehen. Es ist das älteste und größte Spezialmuseum der Welt für Gesundheitserziehung. In 15 Ausstellungsräumen werden dem Besucher sehr anschaulich und allgemeinverständlich Kenntnisse über Anatomie und Funktionen des menschlichen Körpers, über den Einfluß psychischer und sozialer Faktoren, sowie der persönlichen Lebensführung auf Gesundheit, Leistungsfähigkeit und Wohlbefinden vermittelt. Dem Museum angeschlossen sind eigene Werkstätten, in denen anatomische Modelle des menschlichen Körpers und einzelner Organe, Skelette, Lehrtafeln und auch die berühmten gläsernen Figuren hergestellt werden. Das Deutsche Hygiene-Museum Dresden ist Beratungs- und Koordnierungszentrum der Weltgesundheitsorganisation. Reporter: Link Copyrigt-ADN-Zentralbild Berlin-DDR.
