For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-Franke 11.5.90 Der DDR-Zoll wird mit dem 1. Juli die Strukturen des bundesdeutschen Zolls übernehmen. Eine Alternative zu den von vielen Mitarbeitern befürchteten Entlassungen ist die Umschulung. Im Haus der Zolldirektion Berlin werden seit dem 18.4.50 DDR-Zöllner durch vier Lehrkräfte, hier Zollinspektor Frank Seiler aus Hannover, in der Zollgesetzgebung der BRD und der EG ausgebildet.
