Dorfumsiedlung nach Kohlefund

Illus/Merker Ein Dorf wird "versetzt", 26.8.49. Bei Tiefbohrungen in der Umgebung des Braunkohle-Tagebaues Nachterstedt in der sowjetisch besetzten Zone wurde ein außerordentlich reiches Kohleflöz direkt unter dem Dorf erschlossen. Um die neuen Kohlevorkommen der Wirtschaft nutzbar machen zu können, mußte mit dem Abbau des ganzen Dorfes begonnen werden, das an anderer Stelle weiter östlich moderner und schöner wiederaufgebaut werden wird. Auch das Altwerk muß weiter westlich versetzt werden. Die Kohlegruben von Neu-Nachterstedt werden eine weitere wichtige Stütze der Wirtschaft der sowjetisch besetzten Zone sein. U.B.z. Nach modernen Gesichtspunkten entsteht die Siedlung Neu-Nachterstedt.
