For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Siegert 1.9.1955 Den 2000. Interzonenpass in Riesa erhielt zusammen mit einem Blumenstrauß der 76 jährige Rentner Franz Lamprecht aus Jacobsthal bei Riesa vom Kreispolizeiamt überreicht. Kollege Lamprecht fährt zu seinem Sohn nach Osnabrück und wird seinen 1 1-2 Jahre alten Enkel zum ersten Mal sehen. Die Reise bezahlt der VEB Baumwollspinnerei Riesa, wo Franz Lamprecht 15 Jahre lang tätig war.
