For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Merxleben, Erntefest, Gäste Zentralbild Wittig (TBD) Ri. 13.10.1953 Am 10.10.1953 begingen die Genossenschaftsbauern der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft "Walter Ulbricht" in Merxleben, Bez. Erfurt, ihr Erntefest, an dem die freiwilligen Erntehelfer aus dem VEB Kammerspinnerei Langensalza und Vertreter der Verwaltungen und Massenorganisationen teilnahmen. UBz: Auch sowjetische Freunde waren zum Erntefest der Genossenschaftsbauern als Gäste geladen. - Beim abendlichen Kulturprogramm. -
