For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Bonese, Waschmaschine einer Großwäscherei
Zentralbild Biscan 24.5.56 Landhaushalt ohne große Wäsche Die Anfang dieses Jahres in Bonese, Kreis Salzwedel, in Betrieb genommene Wäscherei der VdgB (BHG) ist eine der besten bäuerlichen Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen des Bezirks. Die Wäscherei arbeitet in zwei Schichten und bewältigt 240 Kilogramm Wäsche am Tag. Im Durchschnitt wäscht sie also jeden Tag für 40-60 Haushalte die große Wäsche und nimmt damit den Bäuerinnen schwere Arbeit ab. UBz: Eine der Waschmaschinen ist den Arbeitsanzügen vorbehalten. Eben werden Traktoristen-Anzüge aus der Maschine genommen. |
