For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Frauenprießnitz, Kontrolle der Fütterungsmenge Zentralbild Richter 22.12.1956 Junge Zootechniker bewähren sich Im Juni 1956 legten 58 Zootechniker und Agronomen ihr Staatsexamen an der Fachschule für Landwirtschaft in Triptis-Thür. ab und nahmen ihre Tätigkeit in der MTS, LPG und VEG auf. Einer dieser jungen Zootechniker ist der 22 jährige Heinrich Schmidt, der seit dem 15.7.1956 in der LPG Frauenprießnitz, Bez. Gera arbeitet. Er betreut in der LPG 230 Rinder, 520 Schweine, 250 Schafe und einige 100 Stück Geflügel. Zu seinem Aufgabenbereich gehört u.a. das Führen des Zuchtbuches, laufende Milchprüfungen, ferner hat er einen wesentlichen Einfluss bei der Ausstellung des Futterplans und des Produktionsplanes für Gross-und Kleinvieh. UBz: Für eine systematische gute Fütterung ist es von Wichtigkeit, das die Stalltafeln, auf der die Milchleistungen und Fettprozente der Kühe eingetragen werden, ordnungsgemäss geführt sind. Zootechniker Heinrich Schmidt vervollständigt die Eintagungen auf einer Stalltafel.
