Zentralbild Leipzig 1.4.57 Opitz Bonjack Neues Krankenhaus in Borna. Eines der modernsten Krankenhäuser mit Poliklinik in der DDR entsteht z. Zt. in der Bergarbeiterstadt Borna im Bezirk Leipzig. Am 1.11.56 wurde bereits der Südflügel eröffnet. Gegenwärtig arbeiten schon 11 Abteilungen, u.a. die Innere-, Gynäkologische-, Kinder- und Röntgenabteilung. Dazu das medizinische Labor und die Massageabteilung. 17 Ärzte und 100 Helfer betreuen bereits die Kranken. Im Sommer dieses Jahres wird der Nordflügel eröffnet. Hier werden u.a. die Operationssäle, Arbeitsräume für Ärzte, Mütter- und Schwangerschaftsberatung, eine Dauerimpfstation usw. eingerichtet. Nach Fertigstellung wird das Krankenhaus 650 Betten haben. UBz: In der Allgemeinen Abteilung macht der Chefarzt und Kreisarzt Dr. Otto Jähnicke eine Blutdruckbestimmung. |
