For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bretvisch, Schwaddrusch von Raps Zentralbild Mellahn 4.8.1958 Durch Schwaddrusch Zeitverlust wettmachen Eins der wichtigsten Maßnahmen zur Verwirklichung der Beschlüsse des V.Parteitages der SED, ist eine mit den geringsten Verlusten durchgeführte Ernte. Entsprechend dieser Erkenntnis, hat die MTS Glevitz, im Kreis Grimmen, drei von sechs Mähdreschern für den Schwaddrusch mit Aufnahmetrommeln versehen. Ausser Ölfrüchte wollen sie auch Gerste und Roggen im Schwadd ernten, um den durch die schlechte Witterung aufgetretenen Zeitverlust aufzuholen. UBz: Kombineführer Klaus Granert und Beifahrer Willi Böttger von der MTS Glevitz, Kreis Grimmen auf einem 10 Hektar grossen Rapsschlag der LPG Bretvisch.
