For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Jahna, Arbeiter der LPG Zentralbild Siegert 9.8.1958 Gerstenernte in der LPG "Walter Ulbricht" in Jahna Dieser Tage wurde in der LPG Walter Ulbricht in Jahna die letzte Sommergerste gebaut. Pro ha wurde ein Ertrag von 30-34 Dz erzielt. Insgesamt hat die LPG 24 ha Sommergerste angebaut, die mit Unterspaten im Schwadrusch geerntet wurde. UBz: Sein vierwöchiges Praktikum führt der Student der landwirtschaftlichen Fakultät an der Karl-Marx-Universität Leipzig, Keller (Mitte) als Beifahrer auf einem Mähdrescher in der MTS Schlette durch. Diese MTS ist im Einsatz auf der LPG "Walter Ulbricht". Links: Kombinefahrer Kuban; rechts: LPG Vorsitzender Richard Ziebe.
