Zentralbild Sturm Krueger Froa-Ho 5.10.1958 Zur Vorbereitung der Wahlen: Buna-Arbeiter begrüssen neue Preissenkung "Die neue Preissenkung für verschiedene Industriewaren ist wie eine Bombe bei uns eingeschlagen", sagte der Arbeiter aus dem VEB Chemische Werke Buna, Karl Hoffmann. Er und seine Kollegen begrüssen vor allem die Preissenkung für Schuhe, weil sie dies am unmittelbarsten betrifft. Kollege Faust zog Vergleiche mit der ständig steigenden Preisentwicklung in Westdeutschland und brachte zum Ausdruck, dass er und seine Kollegen auch am 16. November wieder der obersten Volksvertretung der DDR ihr Vertauen aussprechen werden. "Wir haben schon einige Diskussionen über die Einführung der Christoph-Methode geführt und wollten bisher noch nicht so recht ran, aber nun werden wir das rasch verwirklichen, denn nur wenn wir alle Möglichkeiten ausschöpfen, besser und billiger zu arbeiten, können wir unseren Lebensstandard weiter verbessern", ist die Meinung von Karl Hoffmann.
