For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Mellahn Froe-Ho. 3.4.1959 Werftarbeiter sichern Planerfüllung zum 1. Mai. Die Werktätigen der Wanremünder Warnowwerft haben sich vorgenommen, trotz der anfangs eingetretenen Planrückstände bis zum 1. Mai den Frachter "Erfurt" - den neunten 10 000-Tonner - an die Deutsche Seereederei und den fünften Kohle-Erz-Frachter "Usolje" an den sowjetischen Auftraggeber auszuliefern. Dazu haben zahlreiche Brigaden Einzel- und Kollektivverpflichtungen übernommen, deren Erfüllung von 16 Ingenieuren des Betriebsbereiches Ausbau unterstützt wird. UBz: Der 10 000-Tonnen-Frachter "Erfurt" am Ausrüstungskai der Werft."
