For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Biscan Ne-Qu 31.12.1959 Bekleidungswerk Bormann in einer neuen Produktionsstätte. Das weit über die Grenzen der DDR hinaus bekannte Bekleidungswerk Heinz Bormann in Magdeburg hat seit Aufnahme staatlicher Beteiligung einen gewaltigen Aufschwung genommen. Die Zahl der Beschäftigten konnte auf 310 gesteigert werden, der Umsatz erreichte 300 Prozent. Dieser Tage wurde die Produktion aus einer kleinen Anlage in Schönebeck in eine große moderne Produktionsstätte in Magdeburg verlegt. Dem Betrieb ist es nun möglich, sich noch weiter auszuweiten und noch mehr Kleider für den Inlandsbedarf und Export zu produzieren.
