For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Pommerening 9.5.1960 Im Stralsund entstand größte Logger- und Trawlerfabrik der Welt. Die größte Logger- und Trawler-Fabrik der Welt entstand in den vergangenen Jahren zusammen mit der Volkswerft in Stralsund. Alle zwei bis drei Tage verlässt eines der Fischereifahrzeuge die Helling. Viele hundert dieser Schiffe, von denen ein großer Teil in die SU exportiert wurde, künden auf den internationalen Fangplätzen von dem Fleiß der Stralsunder Schiffbauer. In den nächsten Jahren wird hier am Strela-Sund mit dem Bau von "Tropic" begonnen, einem Fangfahrzeug für Reisen in den Südatlantik, das seiner Ausrüstung nach zu den modernsten der Welt gehören wird. |
