For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Weiß-Burmeister Weiß-Ga 19.9.60 Großbauten des Siebenjahrplanes Aufbau des Erdölverarbeitungswerkes Schwedt macht Fortschritte. Der Aufbau der Erdölverarbeitungswerkes Schwedt an der Oder geht weiter voran. Diese gewaltige Basis der chemischen Industrie der DDR wird im Jahre 1963 termingemäß das erste Erdöl aus der Sowjetunion verarbeiten. Gegenwärtig wird am Tanklager gearbeitet, denn bis Ende des Jahres sollen bereits neun Tanks für Dieselkraftstoffe und fünf Tanks für Heizöl fertiggestellt sein. Weiten Raum nehmen auch noch der Straßenbau und die Arbeiten zur Wasserversorgung ein. UBz.: Auf dem Werkgelände werden Wasserrohre verlegt. Im Hintergrund das Tanklager.
