For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ute Noack, Frank Wiegand Zentralbild Dressel 1.4.1962 Ute Noack stellte Europarekord ein Den Europarekord im 100-m-Delphinschwimmen der Holländerin-Heemskork-verbesserte am 1.4.62 die Berlinerin Ute Noack mit 1:10,04 min. Ute Noack, die an gleicher Stelle erst vor drei Wochen den deutschen Rekord auf 1:11,3 min verbessert hatte, vollbrachte damit die herausragende Leistung am zweiten Tag der Prüfungswettkämpfe des Europameisterschaftskaders im Schwimmen, im Berliner Friedrich-Friesen-Stadion. UBz: Einer der Ersten die Uta Noack (links) zu ihrem Erfolg gratulierte, war Frauke Wiegand.
