For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Festempfang für Boxer aus Ghana Zentralbild Semeniuk 16.9.1962 Ghanesische Boxer unterlagen. Die deutsche Box-Nationalmannschaft besiegte am 15.9.62 in der Schweriner Freilichtbühne die ghanesische Nationalstaffel mit 124 Punkten. UBz: Ein herzliches Einvernehmen herrschte zwischen den Boxern der DDR und Ghana. Hier werden kleine Geschenke und Adressen ausgetauscht und man freut sich auf ein Wiedersehen. Links sitzend Degenhandt. Rechts Schlegel (stehend), davor der ghanesische Boxer Kranie und daneben sein Landsmann Miles (schreibend).
