For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Brüggmann Kr-Ki. 18.4.1963 Reges Leben herrscht auf dem Hauptbahnhof Potsdam Bis zu 10000 Reisende werden täglich auf dem neuerbauten Hauptbahnhof Potsdam abgefertigt. Dieser Bahnhof entwickelte sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem wichtigen Schnittpunkt im Reiseverkehr. So können jetzt schon Reisende von Potsdam aus z.B. nach Stralsund, Rostock, Karl-Marx-Stadt oder Magdeburg u.a. Städte fahren. Bis Ende 1963 soll mit den letzten Arbeiten an dem modernen Bahnhof abgeschlossen werden.
