Neuer Amtssitz des Staatsrates eingeweiht.
Der neue Amtssitz des Staatsrates der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik am Berliner Marx-Engels-Platz wurde am Vormittag des 3.10.1964 um 11 Uhr feierlich seiner Bestimmung übergeben. Wenige Tage vor dem 15. Jahrestag der DDR haben damit Architekten, Ingenieure, Bauarbeiter und Handwerker vorfristig ein Bauwerk in die Reihe der Neubauten der Hauptstadt eingefügt, das der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik würdig ist.
