For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Zinndorf, Tiefpflügen Zentralbild Krueger krue 17.9.1965 Meliorativ pflügen Kollegen des VEB Meliorationsbau Bad Freienwalde auf einem Schlag der LPG Zinndorf im Kreis Straußberg mit zwei ungarischen Traktoren vom Typ D4K und einem Spezialtiefkulturpflug. Melioratives Pflügen ist eine Methode der Bodenbearbeitung zur Verbesserung der Ertragsfähigkeit leichter Sandböden in Trockenlagen. Die meliorative Pflugfurche hat eine Tiefe von 40-45 cm, wodurch eine grundlegende Veränderung des Bodenprofils erfolgt.
