For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Schenkenberg, Mitglied der LPG Zentralbild Schurig-krue 25.1.1966-Jahreshauptversammlung in der LPW "7. Oktober" in Schenkenberg-Mit 72 Jahren ist Martha Schirmer die älteste LPG-Bäuerin in Schenkenberg und gehört immer noch der Feldbaubrigade an. Mit Strickzeug bewaffnet verfolgt sie aufmerksam die Jahreshauptversammlung der LPG "7. Oktober" in Schenkenberg, Kreis Delitzsch am 27.1.1966. Die LPG erzielte 1965 die bisher besten Ernteergebnisse. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr erhöhten sich die Erträge je Hektar in Getreide von 31, 9 auf 38, 7 dt, bei Kartoffeln von 170 auf 206 dt und bei Zuckerrüben sogar von 274 auf 386, 5 dt.
