For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ![]() Zentralbild Spremberg 4.4.1967 Berlin: Stahlbauer fertigen Kugelkonstruktion für "Telespargel". Etwa 500 Tonnen Stahl müssen die Kollegen des VEB Stahlbau Berlin für die Kugelkonstruktion des Berliner Fernsehturmes verarbeiten. Willi Troitzsch (links) wird durch seine gute Arbeit von seinen Kollegen geschätzt. Er qualifizierte sich zu einem erfahrenen Stahlbauschlosser und legte auch, als 2. Beruf, die Prüfung als Kranfahrer ab. Innerhalb des Komplexwettbewerbs der bauausführenden Betriebe des Fernsehturms, konnten die Kollegen des VEB Stahlbau Berlin den vorgegebenen Plan immer erfüllen.
