For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEB Baumwollwerke Mittweida, tschechischer Monteur Zentralbild Koch 27.4.1967 Leipzig: Herzliche Freundschaft......verbindet den Monteur Miroslaw Horeni (links) aus der CSSR mit dem Drucker Dieter Voigt aus dem VEB Vereinigte Baumwollwerke Mittweida, Werk Frohburg. Die Monteure der Firma Totex aus der CSSR übergaben in diesen Tagen den ersten der beiden Hochleistungs-Gewebedruckautomaten ihren deutschen Kollegen. Diese modernen Druckmaschinen haben bei acht Farben eine Durchschnittsleitung von ca. 50 m pro Minute. Durch den Einsatz dieser Maschinen steigt die Produktion des Werkes um das Doppelte. Das Werk bedruckt Baumwollstoffe für Bettwäsche, Nachtwäsche und Kleiderstoffe.
