Am 4.8.1970 wäre Erich Weinert 80 Jahre alt geworden! In Anwesenheit Li Weinerts (vorn rechts) und zahlreicher Abordnungen aus Betrieben und Schulen legten Dr. Arno Hochmuth, Leiter der Abteilung Kultur beim ZK der SED, Fritz Selbmann, Vizepräsident des Deutschen Schriftstellerverbandes, Gerhard Henniger, 1. Sekretär und Hermann Kant, ebenfalls Vizepräsident des Deutschen Schriftstellerverbandes, zu Ehren des großen sozialistischen Schriftstellers und Revolutionärs Blumengebinde nieder.
